II Corinthians 5:13

I just got to hear from Shawn Lovejoy (Senior Pastor of Mountain Lake Church).  He shared about living out your unique calling as a leader.  He shared the story of David and Goliath and how David left Saul’s armor behind. He compared wearing Saul’s armor to what many leaders do by attempting to live out someone else’s calling and then asked us to leave the copycat method behind us and be the unique leader we’re called to be.

Leaders, are you living out the calling God has for you or do you constantly compare yourself to other leaders?  Inadequacy as a leader is one the stronger tools of Satan in your life as a leader.  I can be open enough to attest to this. Remember, insecurity and arrogance are not from God.  Confidence in what He’s called you to is.  Live confidently as a leader this week in what HE’s called YOU to be.
